In 2008, a fraud case occurred in South Korea that shocked the whole country.

The criminal leader is named Cho Hee-baek, and is known as the "rare swindler" in Korean history.

Over a four-year period, the Cho Hee-ba gang used the Ponzi scheme to commit fraud in South Korea. They lied that "high returns of 30% to 40% can be obtained through the leasing of medical equipment." More than 40,000 people were deceived, and the amount involved reached 4 trillion won.Converted based on the exchange rate at the time, the amount was approximately NT$110 billion.

After the incident was discovered, Cao Xiba and four other main culprits smuggled into China in December 2008.
